Goodspeed's Musical Theatre Institute is an ever-growing education and training initiative that offers a wide array of workshops and intensives for students, young professionals, and individuals looking to continue their education in the arts. The following is a list of our current offerings:

	AUDITION INTENSIVE \| APPLY NOW! Aug 2 - 4, 2013 Goodspeed’s Audition Intensive is a dynamic three-day program designed to prepare the next generation of Broadway hopefuls for the all-important college entrance audition process. High school Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors will hone their audition skills and learn tricks of the trade from industry professionals. Learn more

	MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE INTENSIVE \| APPLY NOW! Aug 4 - 11, 2013 Calling all up-and-coming hoofers! If you can’t help but move to the rhythms of Broadway and you want to be cast in musicals, this is the workshop for you! Goodspeed’s Dance Intensive is designed as a musical theatre dance boot camp for college age performers and young professionals. Sessions are focused on preparing dancers for musical theatre auditions and the week will culminate with several mock auditions in front of industry professionals. Learn more

	PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERIES \| APPLY NOW! Oct 26 & Dec 14, 2013 Earn your CEU Credits with Goodspeed! This seminar series designed especially for teachers will address the challenges that arise in directing high school productions. It's a rare opportunity to receive individualized support, expert advice, and diverse perspectives from educational, community, and professional theatre practitioners. Learn more

	SCENIC PAINTING INTENSIVES Advanced Scenic Painting: Jan 20 - 26, 2014 Introduction to Scenic Painting: Jan 2015 The aesthetic beauty of Goodspeed's productions testifies to the fact that Goodspeed Musicals benefits from some of the most talented scenic painters in the country. During these six-day intensive programs, participants will receive expert instruction from a team of esteemed teaching artists, including current and former Goodspeed staff.

	MUSIC DIRECTION INTENSIVE Jan 20 - 26, 2014 During this week-long intensive, participants will use the latest technology to receive hands on training from internationally renowned Music Direction experts in the management and implementation of the audition, rehearsal, and orchestration processes. 	OBSERVERSHIP PROGRAM 2014 Season Whether you’re an aspiring Director, Choreographer or Music Director, Goodspeed’s Observership Program gives young professionals and students a once-in-a-lifetime experience that can’t be taught in the classroom. This tuition-based program pairs young theatre artists with world-class theatre professionals, allowing them to observe and assist a Goodspeed Director, Choreographer, or Music Director during the rehearsal process of a production.
